One of Britain’s leading fashion designers, Paul Smith, established his eponymous brand in 1970 which is now available in over 70 countries. His work is recognised for creative approach that unifies both tradition and modernity. The notion of a classic with a twist lays at the core of the company’s heart. At first, he specialised in men’s clothing but after finding out women had been buying his clothes for themselves in smaller sizes he decided to launch his first womenswear collection. Paul Smith was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II, awarding him for his iconic contribution to menswear for over 30 years.
